Roy Joseph Klump
Roy Joseph Klump was born March 4, 1981, at Safford.
He grew up on the family ranch and attended Willcox Schools from kindergarten through high school. He and his friend, Cotton Tenney, ran the movie theater in Willcox for a while.
In Tucson, he worked at Fenster Boarding School as campus security. He enjoyed that job working with troubled teens more than any other job he held.
He loved video games and science fiction books, especially those by Allan Dean Foster.
He was living in Willcox when he passed away from liver failure in Tucson on May 27, 2019.
Roy is survived by: his parents, Keith and Kathy Klump; his five siblings, Phillip (Shannon) Klump, Stephen (Shaye) Klump, Pamela Klump, Ronald (Dayla) Klump, and Julie (Greg) Long; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
The family wishes to give special thanks to officer Clay Cooke, the ambulance crew, the doctors and wonderful nurses at Northern Cochise Community Hospital and Tucson Medical Center. We also thank all the wonderful people of the Willcox area who always come forward when needed.
