Norma S. Smith
Norma S. Smith, of Willcox, died at the Center of Tucson on May 24, 2019, at the age of 82. She was born in Phoenix on Jan. 8, 1937, to Clarence Irving Harris and Sybil Marie Cravens Harris.
Norma graduated from Tucson High School. In 1980, she moved to Willcox with her husband, Ken, and had a longtime successful business as Aunt Norma Baby School. She cared for many young people in the Willcox area.
Norma was an avid artist, and, yearly, she participated in the Willcox Chamber of Commerce craft show, showing her workmanship in crafts and offering her delicious baked goods.
She was a member of Grace Chapel.
Survivors include: her daughter, Sharon Cornell, of Tucson; son, Tom Smith, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; her brother, Jerry (Marlene) Harris, of Tucson; and numerous nieces and nephews of both the Harris and Smith families.
Preceding her in death were: her husband, Kenneth Smith, in 2015; her brother, Jack Harris; and sister-in-law, Shelby Harris.
A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Grace Chapel.
