John Wayne Taylor
John Wayne Taylor, 61, passed away May 31, 2019, as he lost his battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Brenda, in 2017; his mother, Minnie Benoit, in 2013; and his stepmother, Peggy Taylor, in 1994.
He is survived by: his father, John B. Taylor, of Willcox; his brother, Bruce Taylor, of Tucson; numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and a plethora of amazing friends across the country.
John was born in Bisbee in 1958. He attended Bisbee High School and, after moving with his family to Morenci, graduated from Morenci High School in 1977.
John was employed at Barnett’s Towing & Propane in Sierra Vista since June 2012 as a propane technician. John also spent almost 22 years employed by the United States Postal Service in Virginia as a mail handler from 1988 to 2009 before moving to Sierra Vista.
There will be a celebration of John’s life on June 15, 2019, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the home of Mary and Ken Dever at 5811 S. Pintek Lane in Hereford.
