Bob Turner, born near Grand Haven, Mich. on Oct. 1, 1924, died Jan. 26, 2013.

He served as a Marine in the South Pacific during World War II. He retired to Cochise in 1979 after working with the U.S. Postal Service. Bob worked for 10 years for AEPCO before starting Westwind Plaza Art and Antiques in Willcox.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sylvia; two daughters, Marty Hardesty of Michigan City, Ind. and Phyllis Deany of Katy, Texas; two step-children, Kevin and Amy; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

At his request no services will be held. Contributions may be made to the Charles Wm Leighton Jr. Hospice, P.O. Box 115, Willcox, AZ 85644 in his memory. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.westlawnchapelmortuary.com.
