Ash Creek School students will be presenting a special Valentine's Day drama performance titled “A Wild Ride Through Time: A History of the Sulphur Springs Valley,” at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.

Resident storytelling artist Glenda Bonin, of Story Works Group, has been working with Ash Creek K-8 students to bring the history of the Sulphur Springs Valley to life. The project was funded by a grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Students have researched local history through published sources and interviews with community elders in the course of creating this original drama.

A spaghetti dinner and dessert potluck will follow the performance. For more information, please call the school office at (520) 824-3340.
