Kathy Ellis Bracamonte, of Willcox died Sept. 4, 2010 at the age of 42. She was born in Willcox on Aug. 28, 1968 to Billy and Betty Jean Patrick Ellis.
Kathy was a graduate of Willcox High School, attended University of Arizona and received an Associate's Degree from Eastern Arizona College. She also earned her teaching certificate. Kathy was currently a Correctional Officer II at Ft. Grant.
On November 21, 1987 in Willcox she married Andy Bracamonte who survives her. Kathy is also survived by her father Billy Ellis of Willcox, and her sons Andy Bracamonte III, Joseph and Jonathan Bracamonte all of Willcox and her stepson Michael Hutchison of Benson and one granddaughter. Also surviving is her sister Sherri (Frank) Bracamonte of Willcox, her brothers Ronnie (Debbie) Ellis, Ricky and Randy Ellis all of Willcox. Preceding her in death was her mother.
A Rosary will be offered on Thursday, Sept. 9 at Westlawn Chapel beginning at 7 p.m. with Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the family. Services entrusted to Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematory of Willcox, Ariz.
