Not just cable news
In response to the two ladies who did not like my critical observations regarding Mr. Obama.
1) To the lady accusing me of getting my political information only from Cable News. I must admit, (when not watching the Arizona Diamondbacks) I do see Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Meghan Kelly, Chris Wallace, Neil Cavuto and Judge Napolitano on FOX.
However, that is apart from my daily radio dose of Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingram, Glen Beck, Garrett Smith, Mark Levine and Michael Savage. My reading material includes The Weekly Standard, National Review, the Wall Street Journal, plus news bulletins put out by Judicial Watch and the Heritage Foundation. Then, for a little variety, each Wednesday I scan the pages of the Arizona Range News so no one can accuse me of being totally conservative.
2) To the second lady who had enough courage to admit she not only voted for Obama the first time, but plans to vote for him again, I suggest she read George Orwell's book titled ANIMAL FARM, and pay special attention to what happened to the individuals who lived inside the sheep pen.

" Thank you, Ms. Moreale-de la Garza, for listing all of your sources of news and opinion. Now it is crystal clear why you wrote the letter you did regarding what you call "name calling" buy the current President. All of your sources are so right-wing and one-sided! It's amazing to me how folks claim to be well-read or well-informed, yet they get all their so called "knowledge" from one super-biased perspective. "

" Why doesn't this online "newspaper" every publish comments? Guess you all are biased like your contributors (Editor's note: We will not publish statements considered libel (defamatory.)) "

" Your source for news is totally from conservative sources. Suggest you listen to NPR, CNN and other such sources to get a balanced view.
Also...the symbolic sheep in Orwell's Animal Farm could be intrepreted as conservatives who parrot the opinions of "educated" right wing radicals. "

1. All due respect. I'm not sure that citing Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh is enough to gain credibility to your point. Should we really be making any decisions based on opinions and "research" conducted by celebrities? Also, the FOX Newsgroup may have the intention of providing news but they are also in the business of entertaining.
2. As for the Orwellian reference. Animal Farm is an excellent book widely known to be allegorical.
