Status compliant

Published: Wednesday, September 1, 2010 1:22 PM CDT
Your article in the Aug. 25 paper, entitled "Small charities may file overdue tax-exempt papers by Oct. 15" listed the R & R Ranch and Education Center, Inc. (dba The SPRING Student Center) as being "in danger of losing their tax-exempt status".

According to the IRS, on Aug. 11, 2010 we were completely up to date with all of our filings and papers. This is the first time that non-profits "normally grossing less than $25,000 per year" have been required to file, but we are in fact, compliant and not in danger of losing our 501c3 status.
