The Cochise County Humane Society Trap/Neuter/Return Program has announced that it will hold its Spay/Neuter Clinic in Willcox on July 7 and 8, and in Whetstone July 14, 15, 21, and 22.

The program has been very successful, according to spokeswoman Robin Redding. With grant money received from the Summerlee Foundation, Bonnie Kay Fund, and Arizona Pet Plate Program, the Humane Society has spayed, neutered and vaccinated about 500 free roaming cats in the last 12 months, and has "re-homed" about 30 abandoned cats and socialized feral kittens.
Cat food donations are needed to help free roaming cat colonies remain healthy.
