Michael Shell
1945-2010
Michael Shell of Willcox died at home on Feb. 28, 2010 at the age of 64. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Oct. 30, 1945 to Philip and Jean (Verbicks) Shell.
Michael served in the U.S. Air Force and was a motorcycle enthusiast and silversmith. In 2000 Michael and his wife, Diane, moved to Willcox from Ft. Collins, Colo.
He is survived by his wife Diane of Willcox; sons Zachary (Cassandra) of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Aaron (Mehera) of Littleton, Colo., and a grandson Salace Shell and granddaughter Mekayla Chase Shell. Also surviving is his brother Allen of Belgrade, Maine, and sisters Carolyn Willy of Copley, Ohio, and Joyce Hughes of Winslow, Ariz.; and his mother Jean Paxton of Copley, Ohio. Preceded in death by his father Philip Shell.
Contributions may be made to the Extended Hands Ministries or Willcox Church of God 7th Day Good Samaritan Fund. Graveside services were held on Monday, March 8, at 10 a.m., at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1300 Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, Ariz.
