Willcox Cowbelles Scholarship

Published: Wednesday, March 10, 2010 1:46 PM CST
The Willcox Cowbelles Marguerite Cook Memorial Scholarship was established in 1977 in memory of the Willcox Cowbelles' first president and charter member, Marguerite Cook, and since that time scholarships have been awarded annually to area students. Funding for the scholarships comes from memorials, special projects and money raised at the annual Cowbelles Dinner Dance.

To be eligible a student must major in an agriculture-related field. The dollar amount and number of scholarships awarded depends upon the availability of funds. Scholarship application forms are now available in the following high school guidance departments: Benson, Bowie, Safford, San Simon and Willcox or by mailing a request to Willcox Cowbelles, PO Box 354, Willcox, AZ 85644.

Application deadline is April 15. For more information call 520-384-3123 or 520-384-2791.
