30th Annual Quilt Show
The Double Adobe Quilters are gearing up for their 30th annual quilt and craft show on Saturday, March 6 at double Adobe School in McNeal.
It is one of a kind, featuring live country music during the show. Music will begin at 9 a.m. with Trail Mix and Wilfred Kennedy. At 12:30 p.m., Johnny Bencommo will play; and at 2 p.m., The Simmons Family Band with their fiddles will play. Show hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Quilters have pieced a Butterfly Quilt to raffle off at 4 p.m. the day of the show. The quilt has been hand quilted. Tickets will be available at the show for $1. Admission to the show is free, and children are welcome. The local 4-H will serve lunch.
