Willcox will be hard-pressed to replace the seniors who all started and helped lead the soccer team (whose banquet was just held recently) to the state semi-finals in November.
Team award winners were finally announced for the WHS Soccer conference champions recently. The leadership award winner is Joshua Wittig, offensive player of the year is Elder Ochoa, and defensive player of the year is Alexis Ubiarco. Also, Ochoa and Sammy Oscar were named to the 3A-1A All-State Tournament Team.
