1932-2010
Frank Swigart, of Richland Ranchettes (Cochise), died at home on Jan. 23, 2010 at the age of 77. Frank was born at home in Ringgold County, Iowa on Oct. 10, 1932 to Merritt and Ruby Gilliland Swigart.
Frank retired from John Deere Tractors in Iowa before moving to Arizona in 1985 where he owned and operated his own family business of car dealership, auto transport business and rental vehicles before moving to Richland Ranchettes in 2001. He was a member of the Dragoon Baptist Church and Frank had a huge John Deere collection of various items from small items to a John Deere Tractor.
In 1991 in Apache Junction he married Sue Pulve who survives him. Also surviving are his children Rosemary (Jerry) Kobrock and Debra Gilmore, both of Des Moines, Iowa, and Gavin (Irish) Rogers of Apache Junction, Ariz., along with six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dennis (Sharon) Swigart of Des Moines, Iowa. Preceding him in death was his parents and a son David Swigart.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Dragoon Baptist Church beginning at 3 p.m. Contributions may be made in Frank's name to the Charles Wm Leighton Jr. Hospice, P.O. Box 115, Willcox, AZ 85644.
Services entrusted to Westlawn Chapel, Mortuary and Crematory of Willcox, Ariz.

This is the way I always think of Frank, grinning from ear to ear...always smiling and always with a "quick come back" no matter what you said to him..He is with our Lord now and smiling down on all of us...You are right, one day we'll be with them. God Bless and Keep you,Sue.
