Visitor Center holiday closures at Chiricahua National Monument and Fort Bowie National Historic Site
The visitor centers at Chiricahua National Monument and Fort Bowie National Historic Site will be closed Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009. The scenic drive, hiking trails, and campground at Chiricahua will be open. The walking trail to the Fort Bowie ruins will also be open.
On November 27 both visitor centers will be open the regular hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tours of the Faraway Ranch house at Chiricahua National Monument are presented daily at 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Meet at the benches by the house for the 30 minute tour.
