OLD PEARCE HERITAGE DAYS, sponsored by the Old Pearce Preservation Association, will celebrate the history of the town on Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 27 and 28, with events from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Old Pearce Mercantile will be dressed for the event with new displays of historic photos, articles and paraphernalia. Association members will be on hand to serve pastries and coffee. A display of antique machinery may be seen, and artists, authors and craftsmen will be set up with a variety of items for sale. Music and entertainment may also be enjoyed. CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: Pearce 8th Grade Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday Nov. 28, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. in Sunsites, at the Community Center. There will be crafts, antiques, jewelry, baked goods, and much much more! Vendors may call 520-826-3603.

ELEGANT DESSERT NIGHT, one of the highlights of holiday season in Sunsites, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Sunsites Community Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dessert tasting and silent auction of "Arts and Antiques beginning at 5:30.

The theme is "Sweet and Savory Desserts." The annual event is sponsored by the Friends of the Pearce-Sunsites Community Library, for which this is their primary fund-raiser, paying for operation and maintenance of the library.

Tickets are on sale at the Sunsites Community Library and from members of the Friends of the Library board. Members of the Friends may purchase tickets for $6. The price for non-members will be $8.
