By Derek Jordan & Carol Broeder/Wick Communications
A Texas woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover wreck on Interstate 10 east of Willcox on Saturday.
Marisa Delosantos, 19, of Eagle Pass, was killed after the blue 2005 Ford driven by Julieta Soto, 40, also from Texas, drifted off the roadway sometime before 7 a.m.
Soto lost control of the vehicle, which rolled, causing Delosantos to be ejected from front seat of the vehicle, said DPS Duty Officer Cherie Klavitter.
They were traveling eastbound on I-10 at the time of the wreck, which occurred at milepost 361.8, about 21.8 miles east of Willcox.
Soto, whom Klavitter said was fatigued at the time of the incident, was transported to University Medical Center in Tucson for treatment of injuries.
