Cochise County Jr. Golf Championship
The first Cochise County Junior Golf Championship will be held at Turquoise Valley Golf Course in Naco on July 27 and 28.
This championship is open to all golfer ages 8 - 18, who are residents of Cochise County, Ariz. Golfers must not have graduated high school.
This will be an individual stoke play tournament. Ages 8 - 12 will play on July 27 and ages 13 - 18 will play on July 27-28. Cost will be ages 8 - 12 will be $20; ages 13 - 18 will be $30. Fees include golf, lunch, and prizes.
Tee times will start at 8 a.m. on both days.
This tournament will become an annual event each July, sponsored by Junior Golf of Cochise County. We are working to establish as a 501c3 Non Profit Organization, said Scott Jessee, executive director, Junior Golf of Cochise County.
