SIERRA VISTA - County officials are working to identify the body of a man discovered outside of Dos Cabezas on Thursday.
There was no identification on the Hispanic man, who appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 35 and was found wearing white tennis shoes, a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
U.S. Border Patrol agents discovered the body in the area of Spear Quarry off Apache Pass Road shortly after 1 p.m. and then reported it to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
The initial investigation by deputies found no evidence at the scene of foul play, the sheriff's office reported.
The Cochise County Search and Rescue team was dispatched to recover the body, which was sent to the county medical examiners office to determine a cause and time of death. The case will be under investigation until such information is received.
