BLM releases Black-Tailed Prairie Dog Environmental Assessment for public comment
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Tucson Field Office is now seeking public review and comment for the Black-Tailed Prairie Dog Environmental Assessment (EA).
The EA analyzes the feasibility of reintroducing black-tailed prairie dogs to the Las Cienegas National Conservation Area. After the analysis was conducted, the BLM has concluded that no significant impact would occur if the prairie dogs were reintroduced to the area.
The EA is available by visiting the BLM website at:

Copies will also be available at the Tucson Field Office.
