Bucko's Coffees and Coronado Vineyards are hosting "Vanishing Species - Cowboys and Birds" Jan. 15-18 at Coronado Vineyards in Willcox.

"Vanishing Species" is a collection of oil paintings and watercolors by local artist Jean Bohlender, featuring not so uncommon birds in this area, a local farrier - Wade Kaiser, cows, and cowboys, including a local surprise portrait.

The cowboy paintings are mainly a series entitled "Branding On the Moon", depicting the cowboys of the Moon Ranch in Cliff, NM during spring branding and fall round up.

Jean Chandanais Bohlender is a member of the Willcox Art League, and her work is hung locally in Bucko's Coffees on Railroad Ave. Her work can also be viewed at the Chiricahua Gallery in Rodeo, NM, and the Seedboat Gallery in Silver City.

Feel welcome to visit Coronado Vineyards during Wings Over Willcox Jan. 15-18, 2009.
