Sunsites live tree sale to include Texas Red Oaks

The tree sale fundraiser benefiting the Sunsites Community Golf Association that will now include locally grown 6-8-foot live-in-the-growing-pot Texas Red Oaks.
Cochise County Realty's Duke and Bobbie VanDeYacht heard about the project to raise funds to maintain operation of the 18-hole golf course by the newly formed association of Sunsites area residents and donated 61 of the hearty, easy-to-grow-in-Arizona Red Oaks to the cause. The red oaks, to be sold at $40 each, can be paid for and picked up as long as they last at the Shadow Mountain Golf Club pro shop, which is open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.
Call tree project chairman Kay Gustafson at 520-826-0087 to reserve a Goldwater Pine tree for pick-up on Saturdays, or for more information on the project, or call the Pro Shop at 520-826-3412.
