The Art League of Willcox is proud to begin announcing the winners of the student art contest in grades K-5. The Art League wishes to thank Mr. Richard Seidel of the Willcox Commercial for allowing us to use his store for the show. Instead of using the windows the artwork was hung inside on display boards. Julie Hunsdon inspired her young artists to create beautiful works of art and we had a lovely show.

Best in Show was Adrianna Valencia, in the 4th grade, who chose a unique subject different from her fellow artists. She received a gift bag and check for $35 from Lisa Glenn, show judge from the Art League.

The Art League will be presenting 1st through 3rd place prizes to K-5 winners in the next two weeks. The Art League held a raffle to support the Art Program in Willcox Schools during the Rex Allen Day Fundraiser held in Railroad Park.

If you would like to join us and donate to the Willcox School Art Program, please go to the District Office on Bisbee Ave. where you can get a donation form.
