Band earns bronze at Seattle Heritage Festival

The Willcox High School Band traveled to Seattle, Wash., for the Heritage Festival April 24-27.
Band members visited the Experience Music Project, including the opening day of the Jimi Hendrix - An Evolution of Sound exhibit, learn how to play various instruments in sound booths, and the chance to make their own music videos.
WHS Band, directed by Mark Breen, played at the Seattle Heritage Festival. They were given a clinic after their performance by a university music school director, and they earned a Bronze Plaque for their performance, presented to the band at the Awards Dinner/ Banquet after a cruise to Tillicum Village island.
