Apple Annie's Walk for Babies April 5
Apple Annie's will be open for one very special day this spring! Saturday, April 5, it will be hosting a March of Dimes "March for Babies" and has decided to open the orchard to everyone to come enjoy this spectacular time of year at Apple Annie's. Annie invites you to come out and join them for the day and enjoy the gorgeous blooming orchard, apple smoked burgers, fresh baked pies and all the jarred goods everyone loves!
Start your day with a wagon ride around the orchard to view the blossoms; don't forget your camera! The Burger Barn will be open from 11 a.m. 3 p.m., and 100 percent of the proceeds from lunch will be donated to the March of Dimes. The bakery will be open selling fresh baked pies and apple bread, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated as well.
Apple Annie's became involved with the March of Dimes in 2007 after Farmer John and Annie's daughter Mandy and son-in-law David had their first child, Zane, born 3 months prematurely. They were blessed to be able to spend 2 weeks with Zane before he went home to heaven. Please join them on April 5 for the 1st Annual March for Zane. Proceeds will benefit March of Dimes Southern Arizona.
To join a team and raise money for the walk, please visit www.MarchForBabies.org , then click on Join a Team at the bottom left. The team name is March for Zane Willcox. To make a donation to the walk please go to www.MarchForBabies.org/amandakirkendall .
