Fri., Feb. 22

5:43 p.m. - Police responded to a grocery store for a possible shoplifter. The suspect was confronted, but no charges were brought against them. A report was taken.

5:46 p.m. - Police responded to a restaurant for a report of a possible kidnapping. A child was taken without permission, the suspect and the child were located and the child was returned without any harm. Charges are pending. A report was taken.


7:58 p.m. - Police responded to the 1000 block N. Flagstaff for a domestic dispute in progress. No charges were pressed and a report was taken.

9:53 p.m. - Police responded to the apartments on Teeling Lane for a domestic in progress. A 29-year-old male and a 23-year-old female, both of Willcox were arrested, cited and released on charges of disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Sat., Feb. 23

3:30 p.m. - Police responded to the swimming pool for a report of five males inside the pool and jumping from the building into the pool. No arrests were made, a report was taken.

9:15 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop of two vehicles drag racing in the 900 block of Rex Allen Drive. The first driver, a 17-year-old male, and a second driver, a 17-year-old female, were arrested, cited and released on charges of drag racing.

10:13 p.m. - Police responded to a travel center for a report of a two- vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

10:32 p.m. - Police responded to a gas station for an unwanted person. A 61-year-old year male of Willcox was arrested and booked into jail on charges of criminal trespassing and possession of marijuana.

Sun., Feb. 24

1:32 a.m. - Police made a traffic stop at MP 335, I-10. The driver, a 34-year-old male, of Burbank, Calif. was arrested, cited and released on charges of criminal speeding. (94 in 75).

1:55 a.m. - Police made a traffic stop at MP 335, I-10. The driver, a 38-year-old male of San Diego, Calif. was arrested, cited and released on charges of criminal speeding (97 in 75).

Mon., Feb. 25

9:09 a.m. - Police responded to a travel center for a reported burglary that had occurred during the night. A report was taken.

10:07 a.m. - Police responded to a park for a report of criminal damage done to the concession stand at the baseball fields. A report was taken.

11:59 a.m. - Police responded to the 400 block of S. Cochise for a report of a domestic violence incident that had occurred on Friday evening. A report was taken, the victim was treated at NCCH for injuries.

2:04 p.m. - Police responded to the 200 block of S. Bisbee for a report of a theft of property. A report was taken.

3:11 p.m. - Police responded to Maley and Haskell for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

Tues., Feb. 26

1:35 a.m. - Police made a traffic stop at MP 344, I-10. The driver, a 22-year-old male of Wildomor, Calif. was arrested, cited and released on charges of criminal speeding (88 in 75) and driving with no valid license.

7:03 a.m. - Police took custody and arrested a 24-year-old male, of Phoenix on two outstanding felony warrants out of Maricopa County. He was booked into jail.

9:55 a.m. - Police arrested a 31-year-old male of Willcox for domestic violence incident that occurred on the 25th. He was booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault, domestic violence, and disorderly conduct.

11:14 a.m. - Police took a report of a domestic dispute. A 43-year-old male of Willcox was arrested and booked into jail on charges of domestic violence, assault and disorderly conduct.

11:47 a.m. - Police responded to the high school for a report of a student who set the trash can on fire in the restroom. A report was taken.

7:57 p.m. - Police arrested a 27-year-old male of Willcox on an outstanding warrant out of Pima County Sheriff's Office for failure to comply. He was booked into jail.

Wed., Feb. 27

3:50 a.m. - Police made a traffic stop at MP 340, I-10. The driver, a 34-year-old male of San Diego, Calif., was arrested, cited and released on charges of criminal speeding.

11:24 a.m. - Police responded to the Cochise County Jail to assist the jailer with a prisoner during his court hearing. After the hearing the prisoner attempted to attack the officer. The subject was restrained and placed back into jail.

9:18 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop at MP 343, I-10. The driver, a 21-year-old male of Mesa, Ariz., was arrested, cited and released for criminal speeding. (90 in 75).

Thurs., Feb. 28

1:45 a.m. - Police made a traffic stop at MP 343, I-10. The driver, a 33-year-old male of Brandon, Miss., was arrested, cited and released for criminal speeding (101 in 75) and no valid driver's license.

8:35 a.m. - Police responded to Freemont and Railroad Ave. for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

7:21 p.m. - Police and Willcox Fire responded to MP 329, I-10 eastbound for a vehicle fire. A fifth wheel travel trailer was involved and was a total loss. There was a grass fire started also.

7:50 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop at Wasson and Curtis. The driver, a 23-year-old female,of Willcox, was arrested, cited and released on charges of driving on a suspended license. The vehicle was towed.

10:05 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop in the parking lot of a travel center. The driver, a 19-year-old male of Willcox, was arrested and booked into jail on an outstanding warrant out of the Willcox Magistrate Court for failure to comply.

Fri., Feb. 29

9:33 a.m. - Police took a report of credit card fraud.

2:01 p.m. - Police arrested a 31-year-old male, of Willcox on an outstanding warrant for interfering with justice. He was booked into jail.

2:41 p.m. - Police responded to the Curtis and Grant for a two vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

5:39 p.m. - Police arrested a 27-year-old male, of Douglas, Ariz. on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. He was booked into jail.

10:24 p.m. - Police came upon a vehicle behind the food bank while on patrol. It was found that the occupant was taking wooden pellets without the owner's consent. A 17-year-old male will be charged with theft.

Sat., March 1

1:54 a.m. - Police responded to a travel center for a report of two male subjects making threats to employees. The subjects were located and a verbal warning was given. The subjects left the area.

2:49 a.m. - Police responded to the 700 block of N. Arizona for a reported domestic dispute in progress. The subjects were separated for the night. A report was taken.

2:39 p.m. - Police made a traffic stop in the alleyway between Bisbee and Cochise at Grant St. The driver, a 44-year-old male, of Willcox was arrested, cited, and released on charges of driving on a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

7:21 p.m. - Police responded to a gas station for a report of a male subject in the store with marijuana. A 39-year-old male, of Willcox was arrested, cited and released on charges of possession of marijuana.

10:01 p.m. - Police responded to the 200 block of W. Lewis for a domestic dispute in progress. The subjects were separated for the night. A report was taken.

Sun., March 2

6:53 a.m. - Police responded to the 400 block of S. Haskell for a report of a theft of materials. A report was taken.

10:48 p.m. - Police responded to N.C.C.H. Emergency Room to take a report of an assault with injuries that had occurred at a motel. A report was taken.

Mon., March 3

Nothing notable to report.

Tue., March 4

5:11 p.m. - Police responded to Rex Allen and Bisbee for a two vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was taken.

6:45 p.m. - Police responded to an inn for a report of a theft of property from a vehicle. A report was taken.

11:24 p.m. - Police responded to the 200 block of S. Bisbee for a neighbor problem. Both parties were spoken to and verbal warnings given.

Wed., March 5

12:51 p.m. - Police responded to a grocery store for a reported shoplifter in custody. A 16-year-old female was arrested for shoplifting. A juvenile referral was done and she was released to her parents.
