Thanks for support

Published: Wednesday, February 20, 2008 10:53 AM CST
We would like to thank all who helped us financially, prayerfully and thoughtfully these past few months. Billy had his transplant Dec, 10. After a seven-hour surgery, he came out with a new kidney, actually two from a child donor.

We spent eight weeks in Tucson with lab appointments every other day and came home the end of January.

We could not have stayed up there without the generous help of so many of you and we thank you so much.

He is continuing to recover at home and has another couple of months before he can be "out and about". 2007 was a long year for him. He had a lengthy hospitalization June-July with peritonitis and then five months later received the kidney. We embraced 2008 with hope for a new future!

Special thanks to Stephanie, my sister Kathy, our daughters, Emily, Jenisa, Kristen, and Julia, First Baptist Church, Wynne Chapel and Harvest Ministries and all of you who gave anonymously...God knows who you are and no good deed goes unnoticed. What you have reaped towards us, you will sow in your own life. God Bless you all.
