Businesses throughout Arizona are encouraged to attend the meetings that have been scheduled for the next two months throughout the state. These field meetings are designed to inform business owners about new minimum wage requirements in addition to compliance assistance. The meetings will also include a risk management segment. The meeting date in Thatcher is:

Jan. 22, 5:30 p.m. at Eastern Arizona College, Bonita Room, 615 N. Stadium Avenue, in Thatcher.

Additional meeting dates will be announced.

"As business owners with employees, we need to truly be sensitive to the new rules directing Arizona's minimum wage," says Kevin Rogers, Arizona Farm Bureau President. "It's every business owner's obligation to stay compliant with state and federal laws and to do that we must be informed. I tip my hat to the Industrial Commission for their effort in informing the public on these new rules."
