Ned Hall

1916 - 2004

Ned Hall, 88, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 27, at his ranch near Rodeo, N.M.

He was born on Oct. 3, 1916, in Los Angeles, Calif., but lived the majority of his life in the Willcox and Bowie areas, where he ranched for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Annabelle Hall. Not long after their marriage, the Halls moved to Rodeo, N.M., where Ned continued ranching.

Ned was a member of the San Felipe Catholic Church in Rodeo. He was the 1993 inductee into the Willcox Cowboy Hall of Fame, a charter member of the National Cattlemen's Association, a Business Member of the National Coalition for Public Lands and Natural Resources, recipient of the 1992 New Mexico Cattlegrowers "Wrang-ler" award, and Grand Marshal of the 1994 Rodeo 4th of July parade.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 6, beginning with a Mass at the San Felipe Church in Rodeo at 10 a.m., and followed by a graveside memorial at the Rodeo Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Scottie Anderson, Manuel Arambula, Bill Cavaliere, Guadalupe Chavez, Dean Janzen and Wallace Klump. Honorary pallbearer was Mark Cavaliere. The Lordsburg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
